Mercer County Sheriff's Office

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office provides full service law enforcement throughout Mercer County.  This includes a patrol division, detective division, jail services, 9-1-1, and court services.

  • The patrol division provides house check services for citizens who are going to be out of town for an extended period.  With this program, deputies will check your house (Exterior only) several times a week to deter unauthorized entry.
  • The Sheriff’s Office also provides educational services to senior citizen groups.  Topics include senior safety, scams, and refuse to be a victim.

The Mercer County Council on Aging provides services to individuals who are 60 years or older. Our mission is to keep individuals in their homes safely and independently for as long as possible. Our services include Transportation, Chore, and Homemaker. Outreach specialists are available to help with Medicare questions and to direct clients to needed resources.
